Before you start your juice cleanse

A juice cleanse is not only about detoxing your body, it’s also a journey. With years of juicing experience, our health experts will help guide you! Let us first start by saying welcome to the family! You’ve taken the first step by committing to a Juice Box cleanse… but what’s next?

We'll take this journey together, but first lets evaluate your eating habits and establish an appropriate pre-cleanse diet/ lifestyle. This will prepare your mind and your body to fight against negative detox symptoms that include lack of energy, headaches, aches, irritation, anxiety, and diarrhea, among other things. We want to see your success just as much as you want to see our, and most importantly we want you to reap all of the benefits our cleanse and products has to offer.

Pre-Juice Cleanse Hit List

To bring your body down to a more alkaline state, cut out or significantly reduce the following acid forming foods:

  • Alcohol
  • Dairy
  • Refined sugar
    Including corn syrup, white, and powdered sugars
  • Animal Products
    Including bacon, red meats, jerky, sausages, etc.
  • Caffeine
    Keep coffee intake to a minimum and eliminate all sodas

Processed foods
Any boxed, canned, and bagged foods containing artificial flavoring, preservatives, and additives are considered processed

The Snack Craze

You have a sweet tooth that consists of food loaded with sugar. You like to indulge in fast food on a regular basis and you catch yourself downing more soda than you can think of. Hold the water please!

Our experts recommend a full week transition to avoid potential negative detox symptoms. Cut down on the junk and switch to salads for lunch and fruits for dessert before you enter a cleanse (for best results)

The American Way

You lean towards a box of pasta, microwaved meals, and a burgers and fries on a weekly basis ala processed foods.

Dedicate 5 days for a transitional period by planning your meals in advance and incorporating as many fruits and veggies as possible.

The Weekender

You stick to a healthy diet during the week but once Friday hits, its balls to the walls. You like to partake in the happy hour specials, indulgent Saturday dinners, and the heavy Sunday brunches.

For 3-4 days try to eliminate processed foods and alcohol you consumed over the weekend. Choose a side salad instead of french fries and go for a glass of water instead of a mimosa.

The Health Guru

You blend mean green smoothie and hunt for the latest superfood trend. But you also cheated on your low-cal breakfast last week with waffles. Time to get back on track Champ!

Spend 1-2 days reminding your body what it feels like to eat clean.

DURING THE CLEANSE

What if I’m hungry?

Nothing can substitute the derailment of a plan like hunger. If you can’t grab a Sneakers and really need something to digest while you’re on a juice cleanse grab some mixed nuts, preferably walnuts and eat a grapefruit/ orange, or banana. All options are detox friendly and sure to help you steer the course.

What if I want to work out during my cleanse?

Listen to your body. If you feel weak, do not push yourself. If you are working out and feel you need more than the 6 bottles included, try eating raw fruits, vegetables, and/or raw, unsalted nuts. If that is still not enough, try a vegetable-based soup. If you need to eat a meal, it should be vegetable and/or nut based.

Can I exercise during the cleanse?

Our favorite saying is listen to your body. Monitor your workouts, if you feel like they’re becoming to intense switch to light or intermediate workouts.

How much water should I drink? 

the goal is to drink 8 cups to a gallon of water a day to help relieve your body of detox symptoms and keep you feeling hydrated.

When should I drink my juices?

Drink each juice in 2-3 hour intervals or when you start feeling hungry (similar to eating meal prep. Timing is not set in stone, it's just a friendly reminder. Btw you can drink as much water as you like 🙂

I’m not feeling good during my cleanse. Why?

You may have fallen victim to detox symptoms. This is normal. Hang in there champ!

These side effects include a decrease in energy, potential mood swings, and aches, and sometimes massive head aches among other things. Your body is working very hard to release the toxins built up inside. So don’t panic. The severity of the symptoms depends on the amount of toxins you've had stored in your body prior to the cleanse.

Don’t forget everybody's body reacts differently and you may not feel any of these symptoms during your cleanse. Adequate sleep and drinking lots of water can help reduce these symptoms. If you suffer from insomnia or just have trouble going to sleep, yoga and meditation can also help. Don’t forget drinking up to 8 cups of water a day helps flush out the toxins faster and will get you back on track to feeling amazing.

Listen to your body! If you're not responding well and feelings down consult with your physician. You should always consult with your local doctor or physician before beginning a new health journey.

I need to chew something, anything!

If you're having the craving to chew something during the cleanse try a grapefruit/ orange with unsalted nuts, or a banana.

AFTER THE CLEANSE

How often can I do a cleanse/detox? Can I drink these juices daily?

Our products differ from other juices on the market. All of our product are alkaline based and rid the body of most acidic foods consumed. They can be consumed daily!

Do you guys offer a subscription?

What if my cleanse didn't work?

I’ve finish my Cleanse. What comes next?

The Goal: Juice doesn’t have to be the, be-all end-all. Start by incorporating one juice a day 3-5 times a week and see how energized you feel. That way you don't feel pressured and still are able to get those fruits and veggies into your diet and while getting on the path to taking control of your health and happiness.

Repeat

Detoxification is a great way to maintain your health. Cleansing removes toxicity, layers at a time. The more you cleanse, the deeper it taps into more parts of your mind and addresses other areas of your body. After a 3-day cleanse, we recommend repeating the cleanse every couple of weeks

Take It Slow

As much as you want to dig into those chili cheese fries, we do to! Remember not overload your body during this transition. This will undo all the internal and conscious balance you have created. Because your body has not processed these foods in a while, it may cause negative side effects.

So take it slow and gradually ease back into eating regular foods again..
